Locals reminisce over 40th anniversary of Hobart's 1986 snowfall to sea level
Forty years ago today, the heaviest winter snow in 65 years descended on Hobart, and while snow does make an appearance around the city these days, waking up to a winter playground in the backyard is far less likely, say experts.
